How do I get a consultation with a lawyer on UkilVai?
Choose the kind of matter you need help with, browse suitable lawyers, and book a time either online or in person. At the appointed time the lawyer speaks with you and explains what your options are.
What is the difference between online and in-person consultation?
An online consultation happens over a secure video call — you join from a phone or computer and can share documents directly. An in-person consultation takes place at the lawyer’s chamber. Legally the two are equivalent; it is purely a question of what suits you.
How is the consultation fee decided?
It depends on the type of matter, the time it needs and the lawyer’s experience. The applicable fee is shown to you before you confirm a booking, and nothing is charged until you agree to it.
How does the emergency lawyer service work?
An urgent request is routed to lawyers who are available at that moment, and you are notified when one accepts it. It is a priority request, not a guaranteed response within a fixed time. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact the national emergency services first.
How do I follow the progress of a legal service?
Every service and case has its own progress page listing the stages, what has been completed, the documents filed and the next date. Significant changes are notified in the app and by email.
How do I join an online meeting?
A secure meeting link appears in your account before the scheduled time. Clicking it at the appointed hour joins you to the video call — no separate software to install. The video calling is powered by Agora.
